€200 To Get Married In Your Own Castle !
* & ** these 2 rates are based on the bedrooms not being used.
For Irish castle weddings you can now hire Ballyhannon Castle on an hourly basis if you would like the entire castle to yourselves, your celebrant and guests for just a few hours, without the need to stay overnight.
Many now prefer not to get married in a Civil Registry Office (which may be regarded as a somewhat less than romantic venue, where apparently couples must be in and out within 30 minutes), and Ballyhannon Castle has rapidly gained a great reputation as a very special venue for Irish castle weddings for couples worldwide (and click here to see their reviews on TripAdvisor).
For as little as €200* you can now have Ballyhannon Castle completely and exclusively to yourselves for your wedding ceremony or other special event, and for as long as you like for just €120** for each additional hour!
You and your family and close friends can also stay at Ballyhannon, a self catering Clare event and accommodation venue leading up to and after the wedding for an extended vacation for the equivalent of just €12*** per person!
* for one hour, beginning between the hours of 10am and 6pm, and ending no later than 8pm
** ending no later than 8pm
*** for night 4+, when a group of 20 are staying (excl. weekends, & checking out by 11am on day of departure)
We can tailor any wedding and self catering Clare accommodation package for you, and do please Contact us to discuss any specific venue requirements you are considering.
We have had the pleasure of assisting many couples from all over the world organize their own Irish castle weddings and special family events well before they set foot in Ireland. Kim & Nathan celebrated their special day with us last Winter, and have kindly allowed us to show their amazing wedding video here on our site, which you can view by clicking here (and they stressed to 'make sure your volume is on and use the full screen button in the bottom right corner!'). It shows some lovely footage of Kim & Nathan preparing for the ceremony in the castle, making their vows, the 'breaking of bread' and 'raising of glasses' in the castle afterwards, and other local historic heritage sites they visited in the making of their video.
