Many of our guests have chosen Ballyhannon Castle as their exclusive private venue for special occasions such as birthdays, honeymoons, romantic proposals and anniversary celebrations, or just for group/family gatherings, either catering for themselves or having catering organised. The Castle dining room can seat up to 20 guests around a large rectangular table. The Coach House has hosted seated gatherings (including weddings) for up to 70, and events using marquees for numbers up to 150 seated (maximum).

Ballyhannon is a double property - the Castle sleeps 10+ in four bedrooms (three of which have antique four poster beds), while the adjacent 19th century Coach House (of equal size, character and facilities as the Castle) also sleeps up to 10 more. Guests have found that these two completely separate accommodations are perfect for the individual privacy and comfort of two different groups within the same booking party.

The gardens around the Castle and Coach House are ideal for marquees for weddings, corporate or family events, etc., and can be erected either separate to or adjoining the rear of Coach House (allowing guests to pass freely between both), making it a different and beautiful venue for weddings and all other events in this large (c.2,500 sq.ft.) but cosy, historic and homely stone cottage-style country home.

There is sleeping accommodation for 20+ guests between the Castle and Coach House buildings which are adjacent to each other. Ballyhannon Castle has proven most popular for celebrating special birthdays, reunions, anniversaries and other family milestones, and indeed as a unique honeymoon location. It is an especially unique and memorable venue for weddings.
