The Coach House is right beside the Castle, and each on its own is the most amazing self catering County Clare property available.

 

The Coach House is a magnificently restored 19^th Century Coach House of particular character and size (in excess of 2500 sq.ft.), with its wooden-beamed ceilings and internal stone walls.

Get married in the historic Castle, and after toasting the bride & groom in the Great Room, have your celebratory meal and festivities for up to 70 seated in the open-plan. If your number are anything up to 150, you can either have buffet-style catering in the Castle or Coach House, or erect a marquee on the lawn, and leave the Coach House to be like a hotel reception where your guests can mingle and chat, away from the dancing and music in the marquee.

 

If you need disabled self catering accommodation, the Coach House provides this (while the spiral staircase of the Castle is challenging for anyone with any physical disabilities).

 

The ground floor is open-plan where the kitchen counter is nicely alcoved within large living and conservatory dining areas.  The separate reading lounge and TV lounge provide privacy and quietness, and the TV lounge can also be adapted to cater for disabled self catering accommodation, as it has its own lavatory, wash hand basin and electric shower).

The combination of Ballyhannon Castle and Coach House together provide are a unique and ideal self catering County Clare venue, which has never failed to please every member of a group.
